It occurred to me yesterday that all of you who were so happy with the slayer arc when it was introduced the other week might have been a little circumspect if you'd known all my plans for it.

This cartoon is a condensation of what would have been the next three-day set of slayer arc strips. Here are the full scripts:

MORGAN So, how goes the demon slaying?
ARTHUR "Demon slaying"? I thought the mission statement for chosen destiny
   specified vampires.
GUENEVERE “Vampire slayer” seems to be trademarked now. They haven’t used
that phrase in Anita Blake novels for about ten years.
ARTHUR I only read Anita Blake for the articles

   A
GUENEVERE Anything super-weird going on, British exposition person?
MERLIN As a matter of fact, yes
   B
MERLIN Last night a teenage couple parked at Look Out Point were torn to
shreds by some sort of animal. Under the full moon.
MORGAN You’re suggesting ...
   C
MERLIN Werewolf.
   D
GUENEVERE Waiting on the Young Frankenstein reference.
ARTHUR Too obvious. Even I have standards.

   A
GUENEVERE Got him!
   B
LANCELOT It’s almost dawn
GUENEVERE Look! The werewolf’s changing back to ...
   C
GUENEVERE ... Arthur
   D
GUENEVERE Oh my god
GUENEVERE This arc is Buffy AND Twilight
